"I'm desperate to find a safe place to sit a couple of things down..a place where they won't spill out or double in size." Green Jr. opens volume one of the three part series with vulnerability and doesnt dial it back throughout the seven poem journey. While it is a short read, there is heavy lifting throughout. "Death to Disco" details the hatred that is carried generation after generation while the poems "How deep is your love????" and "Surviving Chelsea's Revenge" questions   how much hurt will be stored and tucked away for the sake of love.
