Pirates of the Seven Seas by Josh Weisman

Pirates of the Seven Seas, Book One: Gromunds Tales, is the debut childrens adventure fantasy novel co-authored by 11 year old Ravi Struck and 12 year old Josh Weisman. Book one in the series introduces us to the main protagonist, Rick who was captured by pirates at the age of four, the somewhat friendly Southern Pirates Clan headed by Captain Cutlass and the decidedly less agreeable Western Pirates Clan led by Captain Blackblade. The book chronicles Ricks adventures as he and his fellow pirates embark on a quest to collect the fabled seven medallions that are said to be key to a island filled with treasure and a portal to the world of mystics who possess magical powers. On the way, Rick must battle a Lava Dragon, Kraken and other larger than life sea creatures, plus brave many challenges, including competition from the fierce Captain Blackblade. Formidable as his enemies may be, fortunately he also has his friends like Tugger, Timmy and Morano to help him. Filled with action, humor and unexpected twists and turns, this book is sure to captivate children of all ages.
