Altered Worlds: In the Beginning; Crucible by Michael Sanders

Takes place on the Planet Dunamis, a Planet on the edge of space. The Planet is in the middle of a war in which there is no clear winner. In this atmosphere an unlikely band of heroes is starting to do things that may shift the balance of power. Will they succeed? Only time will tell.
