This book covers the fundamental of quality control and improvement in manufacturing industries. The aim is to introduce students to the tools and techniques of quality control used in industrial applications, and develop their ability to apply the tools and techniques to develop solutions to industrial problems. This book emphasizes the philosophy and fundamentals of quality control, the statistics foundations of quality control, statistical process control and acceptance sampling. The book also proposed Quality Improvement Guidelines (QIG) framework for TQM implementation.
