He ran away… and I keep on driving down the road of life, trying not to fall apart.

I started working as a nurse again in San Francisco since a former colleague of mine, Adam, has offered me a position there.
I’m finding some kind of balance in my life again, even though there’s still a void, when the one whom I miss so much decides to come back into my existence.
I’m mad at him for leaving me and I want answers.
I shouldn’t feel that way toward him, we’re not supposed to feel anything for each other. However, the attraction between us just cannot be denied.

It’s stronger than the notion of good and bad and tends to make us forget about all the risks.
