Synopsis
What if you actually made progress in Arabic by reading a masterpiece — no dictionary, no effort, no giving up?
This book is a bilingual edition: it contains the complete novel in Arabic AND in English, together in the same volume. You read Arabic; English is right there to help you.
Why a bilingual book? Unlike apps and textbooks, you learn with a real story that makes you want to turn the page. It is the most natural immersion method there is.
━━━━━━━━━━ THE METHOD ━━━━━━━━━━
This bilingual book uses a two-column layout. Arabic on the left, English on the right — and every paragraph starts at exactly the same height.
• Understand everything, instantly — the meaning of each word is checked at a glance, with no dictionary and no phone
• Hundreds of words and turns of phrase picked up in a single novel, in their real context — something no vocabulary list can do
• Learn Arabic by finally reading what you love — a real novel, not textbook dialogue
Suitable for every level: the translation helps when you need it — and never gets in the way of your reading.

━━━━━━━━━━ THE BOOK ━━━━━━━━━━
Attributed to Laozi, this work of Chinese wisdom gathers eighty-one short chapters, somewhere between maxim and poem. It turns on the Tao, the way that can be neither named nor grasped, and on the virtue that follows for those who keep to it.
It praises water, emptiness and yielding, and a way of governing by non-action. The text explores restraint, withdrawal and the reversal of ordinary values. Laozi offers less a doctrine than an art of holding back, given here in James Legge's English translation of 1891.
