Slayed; I Trust Him is a memoir of a womans journey from finding and losing love and herself. In her twenties she found whom she believed to be the love her life.Red flags presented themselves almost immediately in the form of lies and insecurity,but she chose to ignore them. As time progressed a picture perfect family emerged from the union; Mastered degreed educators, two children, cars, annual trips to the Caribbean. Yet; the marriage failed. Infidelity, betrayal ,and heart shattering realities destroyed the union.Feeling slain in the spirit, she learns to rely heavily on God and the people he has placed in her life to help her recover her self esteem ,happiness, forgiveness and trust in God. Practical lessons were learned during the journey and the author hopes to share them with others who may experience similar devastating circumstances.
