Plant Science and Its Application by Zaidah Rahmat & Nik Ahmad Nizam Nik Malek

This book comprise of 14 chapters focusing on plant and its application in various industries. Overall, the content is divided into several themes following introduction including growth and development, tissue culture, biological, biochemical and physical properties, and lastly, plant and medicine. The contributors of the book largely come from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) itself with a few collaborations from other institutions such as Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UniTAR) and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). The book presented researches and reviews on scores of plants and how plants play an important role in our ecosystem as well as everyday life. The use of plants in different field utilizing numerous experimental procedures regardless of its purpose is presented and discussed as proof, guideline or initial outlook for students, researchers and industries.
