This book shares behind-the-scene stories of the emergence of leading retail companies in Malaysia. Several interviews were conducted which result in a few remarkable stories of different industries with their very own challenges, survival strategies and impactful outcomes. For example, Malaysia's leading newspaper and magazine printing company, Karangkraf Media Group, took 39 years to stabilize in the business world. This shows that entrepreneurs, who are involved in the rat race of the business world, need to be more proactive in dealing with environmental and technological changes to keep pace with the challenging demand. Therefore, it is hoped that this book can be a meaningful and practical guide to existing companies in Malaysia old or new in order to be a guideline for success in their endeavour to achieve local and global success.
