Synopsis

Part I of the epic saga of Adam Sneed and the years he spent among the Bedouins of Saudi Arabia observing an ancient culture grudgingly, yet out of necessity, transform itself into a modern society. Mutual respect governs Adam's interactions with his Arab coworkers particularly because they have taken note of his interest in their culture and traditions. As Adam explores the local communities he learns that millions of Blacks reside in Middle Eastern lands. This makes sense to him because Arabs began enslaving Africans hundreds of years before Europeans began the practice. In time he discovers how this large population has remained invisible to the outside world, and more importantly why. In Part II Adam returns to Saudi Arabia as an independent contractor and uses the lessons of his first tour to successfully network Middle Eastern style and become a partner in a business that becomes successful despite growing anti-western sentiments and the spread of terrorism.
