Synopsis

Introducing the first part of The Miracle Trilogy® series which tells the enchanting love story of a young Irish girl named Francine Sullivan. She immigrates with her family to the United States from Ireland in the 1920s in search of the American Dream. Francine encounters many challenges throughout her early youth. Growing up during the age of Prohibition, with an alcoholic father supporting the family through a life of organized crime, Francine endures a difficult childhood. She deals with verbal abuse from her bitter mother, who loves her, but can't come to terms with the life that she herself was served. Poverty, endless domestic chores, and then tragedy lead Francine to cry out for help to get away from her current circumstances.
