Synopsis

Science and its comprehension in today’s world is heavily influenced by science fiction. In this story time travel makes its appearance in the form of a start-up company in California which claims to have manufactured a wormhole. Investment is secured and the company explodes into life. One of the founders of the start-up, Almost Infinity Inc., is a cosmologist employed at San Francisco State University called Donald Plum. Donald suffers from a rare mental illness – pseudologia fantastica – but he is not aware that he suffers from it and neither is anyone else. The other founder of the company is a business man and venture capital enabler called Bob Levy. The progress of the company is described as are the lives of the founders and the scientists employed at the company. This is a light-hearted story set in sunny California.
