This book is a popular, non-academic exposition of many of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church from the viewpoint of the theory of evolution. It takes its inspiration from the vision of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, S.J. and guidance from the documents of the Second Vatican Council (1962-65) on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.
