Synopsis

In this episode of “Seekers of the Supernatural”, Tony Spera, with Ed and Lorraine Warren, discuss one of the brighter, more uplifting topics of their work as two of the world’s most noted experts of the supernatural - love beyond the grave. The Warrens discuss stories of love enduring beyond death, sharing anecdotal and pictorial evidence of such beautiful stories of loved ones seen in ghost form after their death and loved ones in death protecting the loved one who is still living. The main story the Warrens share happens in Holly bush, England, and it involves the spirits of Walter Weaver and Doris May. This story began in 1915, with Walter serving as a soldier in World War I. Walter and Doris had fallen in love prior to Walter entering the war as a conscientious objector who was therefore assigned to drive an ambulance. Walter was wounded, returned home, and a short while later passed on. Doris soon died thereafter with a broken heart. The beauty of this story lies in the ghosts of these two spirits being seen until the present, embracing, in the graveyard where the entirety of their social relationship had been spent; picnicking, walking, etc. See the images of these two as the Warrens tell their tale. Other stories include those of a loved one either protecting or demonstrating their love to the living. One story discussed involves an elderly widow whose husband took over the wheel of her car in the hills of Colorado during snowstorm, driving her car safely down to a lower elevation where she was able to assume control of the vehicle. In another story, the nurses of an elderly widow report consistent, regular sightings of the ghost of the woman’s husband sitting by her bedside, along with the accompanying cold feeling and then his disappearance when he realizes a nurse is looking at him. Yet another story shows a similar example of love shown through the manipulation of grass and a forget-me-not into a heart by the deceased husband who used to sing, “Heart of my heart,” to his wife. Hear these and many other tales of love lasting and showing itself beyond the grave, as only the Warrens can tell it, on this inspiring installment of “Seekers of the Supernatural”.
